All you really need in the kitchen is a good stainless steel cookware set and one non-stick Teflon coated skillet. One does not need a complete set of each (plus who has all the money). So this is a great set that heats evenly and its heavy bottom won’t scorch your food the minute it hits the pans. I’ve cooked on some flimsy stainless steel pots and pans before and I can proudly state that this KitchenAid set is sturdy and will aid in your cooking. My only, very small complaint, is that the handles should’ve been completely surrounded by silicone. Those small little parts of metal that are exposed can do harm. But it’s nothing an oven mitt can’t handle.
This set looks beautiful in the kitchen with the vibrant red and have been so amazing after years of buying crappy cheap nonstick pots and pans that don’t last. The handles do not get hot so moving them around the kitchen or stove is a breeze and they heat so evenly that food gets done quicker instead of having to constantly move food around the pan. The best part is the ease of clean up afterward because they practically wipe themselves and there is no need to soak even after food has dried on.
This cookware set is an exceptional value, including all of the pans needed to equip your kitchen with the most used cooking pieces. As the set contains only basic pieces, you’ll really use each and every pan. It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or a simple grilled cheese sandwich.
very nice, practical set. cooks evenly, cleans easily and they are beautiful. the sizes of the pots are sensible. Not just a bunch of little pots like the 10 piece gourmet essentials set. They are a pleasure to cook with, just make sure that if you make a mess on the exterior of the pots you clean them asap to avoid staining.
I love Kitchenaid, I buy everything except their appliances. I also have a red set of stainless cookware and bought this nonstick set because their are complimentary and can share lids. The color is great and I have not had any problems with Kitchenaid cookware in the past. The handles stay cool and the set seems very sturdy. I doubt I will have any problems as I only use plastic utensils and hand wash only. The nonstick is very nice and seems to be much higher quality than my previous TFal set.
